Compass Draft is a small travel-writing project, and the inbox is read by the same person who writes the city guides. If something on the site helped you, confused you, or contradicted what you found on the ground, we would like to hear about it.

Email us at info@compassdraft.com. Most messages get a reply within three to five working days. It can take longer when we are travelling and posting from patchy connections, which happens often — the drafts behind our Destinations and Itinerary Planning pieces are usually written on the road, not from a desk.
Useful things to include: the article title, the city or route you are asking about, and roughly when you plan to go. Practical questions about first-visit guides like Kyoto, Budapest, Munich or Cape Town are welcome, but we cannot build a custom itinerary for you or advise on visas, insurance or bookings.
Partnerships and Commercial Enquiries
For sponsorship, advertising, licensing an article or photo, or press trip invitations, write to the same address with "Partnership" in the subject line. Anything paid or gifted is disclosed clearly in the article itself. We do not sell guest posts, and we do not add or remove links in existing articles in exchange for payment — including in our Packing & Gear and Food & Culture sections.
Corrections
Travel details go stale fast: fares change, museums close for restoration, opening hours shift with the season, and a café we recommended may no longer exist. If you spot something wrong, send the article title, the specific line, and where your information comes from.
- Clear factual errors — prices, hours, station names, transport links — are corrected as soon as we can verify them.
- Where a correction changes the substance of the advice, we note what changed and when at the foot of the article.
- Where we cannot verify a claim either way, we remove or soften it rather than leave it standing.
Judgement calls are a different matter. If you think a neighbourhood, dish or slow-travel route deserves a warmer or cooler verdict than we gave it, tell us — we will read it, and we may say so in a future update, but opinions are not treated as errors.
